I went to meet Suet and Roadquill in Paris at short notice and needed a hotel for the night near the Gare du Nord as I wouod be arriving by Thalys...I scoured Booking.com and found this hotel only a short walk ( a couple of streets) away from the station (but Paris being Paris in summertime you are lucky to get anything1!)...it wasnt exactly cheap and I was not impressed with them charging my credit card AND asking for money when I got there...but the charges have been taken off my card now so alls well that ends well I suppose....
The room was on the third floor and there is a lift..but its TINY!..my room was on the corner and seriously no joke for Paris it was quite large...honestly..and had the biggest built-in wardrobe I have ever seen..it had its own light in it!...the bathroom was lovely and super clean but with a very odd toilet/bidet facing each other arrangement..after you think about it you can see how there might be advantages to this though!
The room had its own tv and workdesk too and the theme was definately 90s plastic fantastic..but it was fine
