Stay on main shopping street
The location of this hotel was quite good, especially if you want to get some shopping in, as its on the main shopping street in Valencia. The double rooms were a good size, clean with bathroom and Tv with pay channels,minibar , aircon and phone. Our double bed was two beds together which was easily an 8foot bed, which was great and comfortable too. The aircon was good during the day, but because it was centrally controlled , if you had it on at night ,it got really cold but with it off you would suffocate, so that was a bit of a nuisance. The breakfast was good, good selection and plenty of, with friendly staff, but spoke no english. Even the reception staff one night spoke no english with the result I wasnt able to use their phone to phone home. We thought we could watch a different movie during the week we stayed , however they just had the same two or three movies in english for the whole week. We had no view from our window, just into a ventilation area, so the room was in darkness all the time, we couldnt even see what the weather was like unless we stuck our head out the window and looked up, to see if there was sun or not. Some mornings the maid went mad spraying air freshener in the corridors , it stank, and really not good for people with breathing problems, or just if you want to breathe. We had a good stay here , but don't think we'd book here again.
