Blue Sky Bed & Sled: A home away from home
If you're looking for a home away from home, this bed & breakfast is the place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the breakfasts filling, and the hosts are very friendly. On our stay, there was only 1 bathroom to share amongst 4 rooms. Everyone staggered their shower times, so it wasn't a problem for us. If you're a tall person, please watch your head when you're using the bathroom.
The train station, restaurants, & shops are within walking distance.

Thriftlodge near Winnipeg Airport: Overnight in Winnipeg
You need to arrive in Winnipeg one day before your departure to Churchill early the next morning. There are plenty of $40-$50/night rooms near the airport. I opted not to spend time in Winnipeg due to the cold weather and didn't find much on the websites that convinced me to stay in Winnipeg.
