There is a sign that only healthy people with a good condition should go on top of the leaning tower. There are guided tours up there which start every half hour and you have to book them for a special time, cause only a few visitors are allowed up there at one time. The tours cost 15 € which is quite a lot for going up a tower even if it´s slanting!!!
Equipment: Shoes are recommended!
