One of the many summer events in Saskatoon. It is located in the Kiwanis Park, at downtown.
This year (2006) is going to be from July 18 to July 23th. Many restaurants participate in this event. You can go, buy some food and eat at the park and listen live music. You don't buy the food with money, you have to buy tokens first and purchase the food with them. One token cost $2 only. We had for a dessert deep fried oreo cookies, very tasty and faty. (See the photo).

Saskatoon is very much a University City, meaning students are catered to from September to April. You will find specials and deals in various shops around town if you carry a student card. Rules vary from year to year though so you'll have to ask (sometimes you just need a student card, other times you require a special student ID card).

During the summer lots of people of Saskatoon walk around the river S. Saskatchewan. They always can find a bench, have a rest and enjoy the view.
