Dirty
Five star hotel, but its not at all, once you been stayed there ... cockroaches everywhere, in your room, restaurants, even in your foods. The room also dirty and the housekeeping not fill up every toiletries at all times, one day you might short off soap, another day you will short of towel, or shampoo.
The staffs also unhelpful and no manner too. We requested for the room services, three phone calls and waited for two hours - bad service.
No late check-out too. If you need late check out, you need to pay for fee, nothing free.
Far to all major shopping centre, the closer shopping centre is Ampang Park (not much stuffs can get from there), the next will be KLCC, by rail $1 riggit per person, by taxi will be $5 riggit.
Unique Quality: View to KLCC only acceptable.

A city hotel
A nice hotel with allhe the modern amenities. The first few floors of this highrise building are a shopping mall and after the reception on the ground floor the hotel rooms start a few floors above.
Food is nice though nothing extraordinary and the buffet breakfast was good.
A nice hotel in the centre of the city.
Unique Quality: Nothing could be called unique

Just Average
As a frequent traveller to KL, this hotel is just average. Price is affordable, but service is not up to mark. The facilities rather worn down. Never try food. Would not recommend.
Unique Quality: none

Truly a Five Star Hotel!!
I specially liked their buffet breakfast at the Cafe on the Tenth.Lots of choices. The staff were very friendly.
Unique Quality: I had a great view of the street at the back although the balcony had a view of the Petronas Twin Towers. Very majestic!

Definitely not five stars rating standard
This is supposed to be a five star hotel but the facilities definitely does not live up to its rating.
Maybe the hotel is a bit old, but I do not think that it is an excuse that you provide a water flask that is growing mould to your 'valued' guests.
What more, the bathtub is not very clean, and there are rusty water stains on the ground. I was shocked that they also give us stained towels!
The locale is pretty out of the way to the main entertainment area. It is possible for you to walk to KLCC, about a 20minutes walk away, however I would not recommend it, especially in the late morning/afternoon as the temperatures can hit to the mid-thirties. In the evening though, it is nice.
Okay, enough about the cons, the few pros are as follow:
The hotel does provide a shuttle service to KLCC, Lot 10 and Federal Hotel to and fro the hotel. You must book in advance though, and the last shuttle service stops at 7pm.
The staff is generally friendly. You can get the concierge to get a taxi for you, and ask them to provide you with a driver who will use the meter. (For the uninitiated, Malaysian taxi-drivers don't like to use the meters in the cab; instead you have to bargain for a fare)
Unique Quality: Great view.

Feel like a crown prince here
A pleasant expereice. I like the view of the city (including the notorious Jalan Ampang's heavy traffic :) from the hotel's windows. The services are also good, with good facilities like Clark Hatch gym, Cafe at 10th and Taj Indian Restaurant. There's also a Balinese theme Spa in the hotel.
Unique Quality: The Crown Princess Hotel is part of the City Square Centre - a 3 in 1 development that also included a shopping mall (City Square) and an office tower block (Empire Tower - once the tallest building in Kuala Lumpur).
The hotel is located at the junction of Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak, close to the embassies/high commission offices in the vicinity. It is also within walking distance to the Petronas Towers via the KLCC park. Alternatively, the Putraline LRT's Ampang station (once featured in the TV program Amazing Race) is just accross the street for easy reach to the other parts of the city. Buses and taxis are also easily avilable from Jalan Ampang.
