    This hotel was located 10 mins from the city centre in Petaling Jaya. It is conviently located near the highway which makes going places so easy. There was lots to see and do in this area without having to go into the city centre. We ate at the newly One Bangsar area where the street was lined with palm trees and restaurants. Best shopping places was 1 Utama and Midvalley. There was also a nice bar called The Savannah - very modern! The hotel room was an executive club room which included cocktails and snacks in the club lounge. The room was very spacious with a separate bath and shower! Views were nice too. I loved the sushi and french little cakes with a nice glass of wine! All complimentary. Free internet access in the room too. i highly recommend this hotel if you have been to KL numerous times and are looking for something different...there are lots of new areas around the hotel worth seeing.

    Best 4 star Business hotel award 5 years in a row. The singer in the lobby room was so much fun at night! Breakfast at the Swez Brasserie

    This is what the internet site says... ...to EASTIN Hotel, the latest landmark and convivial meeting point between Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. We are a business class hotel of international standards catering to both business and leisure travellers. Ha ha it would be funny ...but I can't check out till Monday as the Hilton PJ is full at the moment. So I'm stuck here. Phrase of the staff, "I will inform the Duty Manager". Very good, why not DO something instead?

    Unique? - oh I hope for KL's sake it is unique. Even though charging business rates, and boasting its best four star business hotel award the "Eastin" is closer to being graded a backpackers' short time hostel on the Khao San Road, that has merely upgraded itself with a marble entry lobby and a few blokes in uniforms. Irritation central features are: Mobile phones will not work in the hotel rooms, but amazingly work just outside the front of the hotel. A business centre that is not open, oh, sorry it is open, 9-5 Mon - Sat... when we are in... our offices so don't need the business centre. Smoking guest room? Oh, all of them are under rennovation Rooms lacking in any decent decor, carpets stained like CSI and patches cut out with scalpels and relaid like your nephew would do after trip to B&Q and six cans of Carlsberg Special Brew. Over 50 minutes waiting for a taxi anywhere out of this cultural desert. No facilities in the hotel or anywhere near to get any necessary toiletries ( I needed some bandaids as I had been considering slashing my wrists in the pre-stone age bathroom). Vacuum cleaning the halls at 9.45pm - though a nice gesture it is rather like rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic.
