Local hotel well located

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)

Grand Seasons is a local hotel with an Indian flavour, well-known for its Indian restaurant and buffet and the Malay-themed buffets.

The food is excellent, whether Asian or Western, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

When we stayed only half the rooms had been renovated and the older ones were well below par. We complained and immediately they moved us to a newer room, which was much more acceptable. Housekeeping also gave us a couple of problems but again it was sorted out quickly and efficiently.

Location is good because there's a monorail station very close to the hotel, so getting around the city is very easy.

Unique Quality: The highlight is the food, which is of top quality whether a la carte or buffet, Asian or Western.

Not as good as expected

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. As soon as you enter the lobby, you expect a great accomodation as it's huge. I cannot say it was a bad accomodation, the room was big but we got no complimentary water and there were just 3 towels in the bathroom, so, good big room, but definitly not as good as you would expect. You do not even have wi-fi in te room, just in the lobby.

Unique Quality: Big room, good location.

The tallest hotel in Malaysia

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on November 1, 2006

I stayed there cuz my auntie lives there and we all (15 people of my big family) spent Ramadhan holiday in KL :)
The building is old and dark, the service is very slow, the breakfast is always chaos and not well-stocked, the swimming pool is not endearing.

Unique Quality: nothing beside being the tallest hotel in Malaysia

Directions: 2 min walk from Chow Kit Monorail Station

Rooms are not clean, full of cock roaches. I tried changing my room 3 times duing my one week stay but all were the same. Pool area also lacks proper staff. Very crowded place, eating breakfast is like eating in a down town diner.

KL's tallest hotel

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on July 29, 2004

Unique Quality: The Grand Seasons Hotel is currently the tallest hotel in KL. Its is strategically located in Kuala Lumpur's Chow Kit area at Jalan Pahang, just off Jalan Tun Razak, a main thoroughfare that provides quick and easy access to the central business district and the Klang Valley. It is also within walking distance to the KL Monorail and Starline LRT stations, making commuting to other part of the city much easier.

Directions: Within Chow Kit area, opposite KL General Hospital.
