    The Mutiara KL used to be KL Hilton, and since the new management took over, the hotel has seen many new, positive changes. Rooms are newly refurbished, and lovely new bathrooms. A nice change if you choose to stay in a simpler hotel ( I brough my American friends here) with 5 star service. Cheap rooms and great food. Staff is friendly but still reserved. Just next to Raja Chulan LRT station!

    Great view of the twin towers, esp in the everning when they switch the lights on.

    For info, the formerly KL Mutiara Hotel is now known as Crowne Plaza Mutiara Hotel. I stayed in a Grand Deluxe room with side view of the Petronas Twin Towers. OK, about the room. It was fabulous! I loved the timber-strip floor, the bed design, sofa set and the overall spaciousness of the Grand Deluxe room. And yes, the rainshower was just heavenly! Thumbs up for the room. The lobby lounge was quite nice too, with modern and chic furnishing. The food was average though (Planter's Restaurant). The swimming pool was OK, but the view of the city especially at night was amazing! Overall, this is a very good hotel to stay. Don't get fooled by the old exteriors.
