    • Ritz Carlton, Marriot, Renaissance, Regent, Hilton, Shangri-la are among the most famous hotels around Bukit Bintang area. But, if you don't mind travelling to KL city center everyday, I'd recommend Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel which is located about 30 minutes drive from the busy city.

    Within the hotel area is one of the best shopping center known as 'Sunway Pyramid' . The architecture of the building was inspired by Egyptian style of design. (Good news for those shopping fanatics). There is also a water park next to the hotel. Surf pool, suspension bridge, artificial wave pool ...... and many more! Just enjoy yourself to the most.

    • We were dissapointed. When we arrived in the taxi, we were just left standing there for some time before someone came to greet us and assist with the bags. Check-in ( booking was made online) was handled by a worried, no eye contact, no greeting staff member, not a very pleasant affair. When we were shown our room, which I had paid AUD$190 a night for, I just said no-way. It looked like a 3 1/2 -4 * room at best. We were upgraded to a theme suite, and we did appreciate their response. However, our dissapointment didn't end there. Service from staff in a lot of areas was offhand, bordering on the insolent at times. We felt like nuisances just being there ! The customer service just didn't happen. Getting an extra key card was a huge drama, having coffee on the pool terrace while I waited for my family to come down to breakfast was not handled graciously. The towel boy at the pool wanted to hammer home the fact that lost towels would cost us MR$35.oo, his delivery of this well signposted fact made us feel like we had already lost 10 of his towels ! We just stood there gobsmacked. It was a strange experience this hotel stay ! Gorgeous public areas though, and a very extensive buffet breakfast.

    Adjoined to a great shopping centre via an air-con walk bridge. Them park also adjoins. There are infrequent wave sessions and you do have to register and pay a deposit and a charge , about MR$40-50 all up for body & surf boards - you can't bring your own. This is in addition to the entry fee which is the same for users and spectators.

    • The perfect place to re-ignite romance and of course relax. This luxury and exclusive resort (guests enter through a private entrance) houses 17 stylishly decorated villas - an idyllic retreat for honeymooners or those who want to put the spark back into their marriage. A private haven offering all the luxuries of a hotel suite amidst a natural setting.

    The Villa is one of several accommodation alternatives that Sunway provides for their high end guest.

    Set within the Sunway Lagoon and Resort complex amongst the trees and out of the viewing public, this romantic hide-away takes your breath away with it charm and isolation.

    Each is an individual apartment with it's own bar and spacious courtyard overlooking your very own pool. This leads you into your enclosed bedroom and TV view lounge, connected to your own fanned balcony. At the rear is your open-air bathroom.

    Privacy and seclusion is the biggest sell of this place. However, if you require more, then there is the 24 hour butler, 2 hours of happy hour down at the Villa's own restaurant where you can have dinner or your complimentary buffet breakfast.

    I know this sounds rich and it is. But how else to celebrate one's anniversay.

    It is a good place for business or leisure. Why?It is a beautiful five star hotel.With a probably less than 2 minutes walk over under the roof, Sunway pyramid shopping complex. There is a Sunway Lagoon Theme Park if you are bringing your family, Petting Zoo and Extreme Park all at close proximity of walking distance.
    However this hotel is in Petaling Jaya, which is quite far from city centre of Kuala Lumpur

    Lovely design.Good service and convenient to shop and play and rest!

    This is a good hotel located at the Petaling Jaya area of Kuala Lumpur, which features a big water theme park (which is great especially if you are here with friends or family) as well as a big shopping mall just next to the hotel.

    The hotel has 5 star facilities and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with great views of the water theme park. The interesting thing about this hotel is that it is built on an old mine, so the hotel lobby is actually on the 11th floor and the rooms are below the lobby instead of above it :)
